(CLUB YOUTH LEAGUE)

The CYL was created to prepare young players for the Club experience, to elevate player skills, to strengthen the love of the game. The CYL program starts in September and runs till the last Saturday in October. To play in the CYL program, parents should contact the desired club and inquire about their tryouts for the CYL program.
COLORADO VOLLEYBALL YOUTH LEAGUE (CYL)
INFINITY VBC WILL BE RECRUITING TEAMS TO COMPETE IN THE CYL!
COMPETITIVE LEAGUE FOR AGES 11-14
(5TH-8TH GRADE)
In an effort to grow volleyball in Colorado, the Club Youth League (CYL) was founded by a consortium of local volleyball clubs to give recreational-age players a club-level option for training and competition in volleyball. While the clubs involved in the program are all USAV clubs, this program, and all of its events are unaffiliated with USA Volleyball.
- League runs at the same time as the high school volleyball season
- Season officially starts the week of September 1 (Practices begin)
- Tournaments begin the first weekend in October and run every Saturday until the end of Oct
- Clubs will be holding tryouts/team placements in June
- Season ends the last weekend in October, right before High School State Championships, and right before club practices typically begin
- Instruction from qualified club coaches in a club environment
- INVALUABLE prep for high school/club
- Participating clubs located throughout the Denver metro area (From Littleton, South Denver, Centennial, to North Thornton)
- Practice is 2 times a week for 1.5-2 hours each
CYL will be run by the consortium of clubs that participate. Your athlete's training and development will be overseen by a certified club coach with competitive coaching experience. Our teams will all have club resources dedicated to your athlete's development while still ensuring that they are having loads of fun!
All participating clubs are USAV affiliated, this year the CYL is also affiliated with the Rocky Mountain Region (RMR) as well.

- League runs parallel to the High School season (Sept. 1 - Oct. 3
The CYL program starts in September and runs till the last Saturday in October. To play in the CYL program, parents should contact the desired club and inquire about their tryouts for the CYL program. The program is for 6th, 7th, and 8th graders, 5th graders may also try out but have to play on a 6th-8th grade team.
- Fee is $475 per player regardless of participating Club.
- Players receive a Jersey from the Club they joined.
- High School players are not eligible to participate.
- Boys that are in 5th, 6th and 7th grade can play and have to play one grade level up and max two boys per team.
WHAT IS THE COST & WHAT DOES IT INCLUDE?
- 4 hours of practice/conditioning each week
- 4 tournaments (1 Saturday in September & every Saturday in October)
- Jersey/ Practice T-Shirt
- Club coaching staff
WHEN DOES THIS SEASON BEGIN?
Practices will take place twice a week in September and October. (Mondays & Wednesdays)
Tournaments will be every Saturday morning starting the last Saturday of September and every Saturday in October.
WHAT IF I DO NOT MAKE AN INFINITY VBC TEAM?
We encourage you to go tryout at other CYL clubs that have availability on their teams if you do not make one of our teams.
