• RYL is designed for players (14 and under- "Middle School") seeking a higher level of competition and skill development, but “near home, and relaxed.”
• RYL mimics foundational aspects of club—such as rules, competition format, and the spirit of teamwork—while keeping things accessible and fun.
• The program provides valuable exposure to the club environment without the time, cost, and stringent requirements of traditional club volleyball. Key Program Details
• Autonomy: Each participating club continues to run its own program, preserving the independence and culture that make each club unique.
• Streamlined Cost Structure: Fixed Player Fee: Each club will charge $500 per participant. 

Infinity's 14 and under club teams will all participate in the RYL.

2-day RYL Championships: October 17-18

Athletes must have played in three RYLs to be eligible for Championships! 

Format:

• Four-team pools play “two sets to 25 points, no cap, no deciding set”
• Three-team pools play “match play 25, 25, deciding set to 15, no caps.”
• Tournament Format TBD (based on number of teams and courts)

Age Definitions and Playing Rules are “same as USAV”

• RYL offers 14s, 13, 12s and 11s. (we’ll combine divisions if necessary)
• Your team CAN “play up an age division”
  (but for the entire season!)
• We’ll keep using flip-score only… no paper scoresheets!
• No referees on board yet, but we’ll try to do some ref-training here!
