Each season is a new season. Returning players may be verbally offered early roster spots, but all unfilled positions will be determined at tryouts.

Please remember that every season and every coaching philosophy is slightly different. Be open to change!

Tryouts for the 2026-2027 season will be held during the following dates:

15U-18U

Evaluations (non-mandatory dates or recruitment without official offers)

July 6-8 | 9am-12pm

Open Evals - no official offers can be sent until July 9 at 8pm

Tryouts 

July 13, 14, 15: 9am-12pm at The Courts

*You only need to attend ONE of these dates, unless requested that you come back for additional evaluation.

11U-14U

Aug 17-19: 5pm-8pm at The Courts

Open Evals- no official offers can be sent until August 20 at 8pm

Tryouts 

Aug 24 and 26 from 5pm-8pm at The Courts

There is a $25 tryout fee.

This is paid when you register online. This fee is not applied to season fees. NO money will be collected at the door.

Before you leave tryouts, your potential coaches will have a conversation with you and your parents. 

If we have an overwhelming amount of athletes for a specific age group, we may ask you to come back for another tryout.

RMR plans to send all athletes ALL offers from clubs through OCS this year.

Please be sure you have an OCS account set up prior July 9 (15-18) or August 20th (11-14)

Once we have all of the teams finalized, we hold a Parent Meeting, followed by Volleyball 101 (for those new to the sport and our club).

If you are in middle school and part of our RYL program, your season will start in September.

If you are in high school, your season will start in November.

OCS Instructions for Club Parents

TO PARENTS, regarding getting set up in the RMR Offer Commitment System (OCS)

1. If your player is NEW to the RMR, use this LINK to add her name to our OCS system

2. Identify which parent email address your family will use for OCS. Log into the contact list in that email system

3. Add the email address  "offers@rmr.vstarvolleyball.com" to that contact list 

4. Do a "verify your email setup” run (from THIS PAGE) This sends a test email to your address to confirm that your spam filters will now accept the “offer” email

5. If it fails: 

   a) check your spam folder, your archive folder and especially (in gmail) your promotions folder

   b) and/or search your system for the term "vstar"

   c) verify that you added the "offers" email address to the correct contact list? 

For example: you might use one contacts list (ex google contacts)  most of the time, but for some reason might have provided an email address form a different email system  (ex: yahoo or MSN)  for the OCS Portal

   d) fix what you can, wait one full day, and try again (the system will only run the test once a day)

6. When you do receive your OFFER LETTER, don’t forget to review and sign the “Terms and Conditions” box, in addition to actually accepting the Offer!
